Sonja Johnson

We are very proud to welcome Sonja Johnson, Olympic Silver Medallist in Equestrian 3 Day Eventing, as our first ambassador for The Good Life Farm.

Sonja has been supporting the farm’s work since 2009 when Tennille Porter, daughter of our founder Lesley, spent a year living on Sonja’s family farm - Parkiarrup - in Albany, Western Australia, as a working pupil.

Sonja opened her house and home as well as her heart to Tennille, and enabled her to grow not only as a rider but also as a person.

Since then Sonja has conducted a number of eventing programs in Victoria, which Tennille has organised. All of the proceeds have been donated to the Good Life Farm.

Sonja has a passion and open heart for children and youth.

She is not only a riding coach but a mentor for life to many young people, frequently opening her arms and her home to young people in need.
